Maurice Godet award

To honour the memory of Professor Maurice Godet, a prize awards the best presentation / paper by a young scientist.
The following criteria apply:

• The principal (first) author is aged under 30 at the date of the Symposium.
• The principal (first) author is a registred PhD student.
• The principal author presents the work at the symposium.
• The majority of the work presented has been performed by the first author.

The Maurice Godet prize was awarded during the 'Closure' session and consists of a plaque and a cheque of 1000 €.

The 2015 Maurice Godet Award is given to

Sinéad M. O'Halloran for her paper
"Modelling of fretting in the pressure armour layer of flexible marine risers"
